Mike Wozniak
Michael James Wozniak is a British comedian, writer and actor. He portrays Brian in the Channel 4 sitcom '' Man Down'' and is a member of the team that makes ''Small Scenes'' for BBC Radio 4. Early life Wozniak was born in Oxford, was raised in Portsmouth, and has a twin sister. He has Polish and Welsh ancestry. Education Wozniak was educated at Portsmouth Grammar School. He studied Medicine at St George's, University of London and worked as a doctor for several years before pursuing comedy. Career Wozniak worked doing live sketch comedy starting in the late 1990s, and began stand-up comedy in 2007. He won the Amused Moose Laugh-Off contest at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2008. Timothy David Key (born September 1976) is an English poet, comedian, actor, screenwriter and radio personality. A comedy film is a category of film which emphasizes humor. These films are designed to make the audience laugh through amusement. Films in this style traditionally have a happy ending (black comedy being an exception). Comedy is one of the oldest genres in film and it is derived from the classical comedy in theatre. Some of the earliest silent films were comedies, as slapstick comedy often relies on visual depictions, without requiring sound. Chortle is a British comedy website launched in 2000 by Steve Bennett. The site is a major source of comedy news in the UK. It also reviews comedy shows nationwide, including extensively at the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and presents the Chortle Awards to honour the best stand-up comics working in the UK.
