Michael Middleton
Michael Francis Middleton (born 23 June 1949) is a British businessman. He is the father of Catherine, Princess of Wales, Philippa Matthews and James Middleton. Born in Leeds, Middleton was educated at the University of Surrey. He joined British Airways and worked as a flight dispatcher. In 1980, he married Carole Goldsmith, who founded Party Pieces, a mail-order party supply company. Middleton joined his wife at the company in 1989. Their first three grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are second, third and fourth in line to the British throne respectively. Michael A. Middleton (also Mike Middleton) is an American academic, a deputy chancellor emeritus, and a professor emeritus at the University of Missouri School of Law. On November 12, 2015, he was appointed interim president of the University of Missouri after the previous president, Timothy Wolfe, resigned as the result of the 2015 University of Missouri protests. Middleton served in this role until March 2017. Middleton received a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri in 1968 and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in 1971, becoming the third black graduate of the school. Mike Middleton (American Football)
Mike Middleton (born December 4, 1969) is a former professional American football safety in the National Football League. He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round (84th overall) of the 1993 NFL Draft. He played college football at Indiana University. Early years Middleton attended Western Hills High School, where he played as a running back and linebacker. In his senior season, he posted 1,620 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns, including a 250-yard, 6-touchdown game against Walnut Hills. He received All-conference and All-southwest Ohio honors. In his last 2 years he registered 2,742 yards and 35 touchdowns. He also practiced track and field. College career Middleton accepted a football scholarship from Indiana University with the plan of being the eventual successor at running back to Anthony Thompson.
