Mike Malott (born November 7, 1991) is a Canadian mixed martial artist who competes in the Welterweight division. He currently fights for UFC. In the past he has competed for the WSOF, Bellator MMA and Cage Fury Fighting Championships. Mixed martial arts career Early Career Mike Malott started training at House of Champions in Stoney Creek, Ontario with Kru Alin Halmagean when he was 17 years old. Malott went to post-secondary education at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and trained at Titans MMA while on the east coast. During his time at university Malott took his first professional MMA fight at ECC 12: Rage against James Saunders winning by submission in the first round. The Winnipeg Jets are a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg. The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary Minor league#Ice hockey, developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Jeffrey Turner Malott (born August 7, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger playing for the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played college ice hockey for Cornell University. Early life Malott was born on August 7, 1996, in Burlington, Ontario, to Murray and Anne Malott. He was raised in Waterdown, Ontario, just outside of Hamilton, and grew up playing ice hockey, soccer, and basketball.
