Mike Kim (poker Player)
Mike Kim (Michael Kim) is a professional poker player and the founder of the Asian Poker Federation and MK Global Management Solutions Inc., a gaming service provider based in Metro Manila, Philippines. In 2023, arrest warrants related to illegal gambling were issued for Kim and two other owners of the Royal Flush Bar and Grill. Biography Kim started his career as an online poker player in 2003 while studying mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois, then started playing full-time once he started earning enough money from it. Kim established the first poker room in South Korea and launched a poker room in Macau at the Starworld Hotel. In the Philippines, he opened and operated Solaire Poker Room at the Solaire Resort and Casino, Manila. Kim also opened LT Poker in Okada Manila. Mike Kim (born December 11, 1976) is a bestselling author, inspirational speaker, consultant, NGO founder, and North Korea specialist. He is a Korean-American who, in 2003, moved to the China-North Korea border and founded Crossing Borders, a nonprofit dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance to North Korean refugees. The Korean Republic won, unofficially the South Korean won ( Symbol: ₩; Code: KRW; Korean: 대한민국 원) is the official currency of South Korea. PokerStars Caribbean Adventure
The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure was an annual televised poker tournament. The event was first held in 2004 and was originally co-sponsored by PokerStars and the World Poker Tour. In 2008, the event moved from the WPT to the European Poker Tour. In 2010, the event was moved again and served as the inaugural event of the North American Poker Tour. In 2017 the tournament was the inaugural event of the new PokerStars Championship tour and renamed PokerStars Championship Bahamas.
