Mike Grady (actor)
Michael Grady (born 6 February 1946) is an English character actor. He is probably best known for his comedy roles in films and TV, particularly as Ken Mills in ''Citizen Smith'' (1977—1980) and Barry Wilkinson in ''Last of the Summer Wine'' (1986–2010). Early life Grady was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Career After a classical training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, his career has spanned more than 40 years, and includes theatre roles at the Royal Shakespeare Company and London's Royal National Theatre, as well the West End, the Royal Court, the Bush, and the Soho Poly, plus many tours and pantomimes around the country. ''Wycliffe'' is a British television series, based on W. J. Burley's novels about Detective Superintendent Charles Wycliffe. It was produced by HTV and broadcast on the ITV Network, following a pilot episode on 7 August 1993, between 24 July 1994 and 5 July 1998. The series was filmed in Cornwall, with a production office in Truro. Music for the series was composed by Nigel Hess, who was nominated for the Royal Television Society award for the best original television theme in 1997. Peter Sellers (born Richard Henry Sellers; 8 September 1925 – 24 July 1980) was an English actor and comedian.
