Michael Stephen Cook (born 19 February 1939) is a former English cricketer. Cook was a left-handed batsman who occasionally fielded as a wicket-keeper. He was born at Edgbaston, Warwickshire. Cook made two first-class appearances for Warwickshire, against Cambridge University in 1961 and Oxford University in 1962. Against Cambridge University at Mitchells and Butlers' Ground, Cook scored 52 in his maiden first-class innings before he was run out. In their second-innings, he was dismissed for 15 runs by Simon Douglas-Pennant, with Warwickshire winning the match by 51 runs. Against Oxford University at Edgbaston, Cook scored 27 runs in Warwickshire's first-innings before he was dismissed by Colin Drybrough, while in their second-innings he was dismissed by Ian Potter for 16 runs. Michael John Cook (born 18 October 1968) is an English former professional footballer. He was most recently the manager of National League South side Chippenham Town. In his playing career, Cook played in the Football League as a midfielder for York City and Cambridge United, after starting his career with an FA Youth Cup win with Coventry City In December 2019 he appeared in court on allegations of dangerous driving. He pleaded guilty to careless driving in February 2020 and was banned from driving due to the number of points he had accrued. Career Born in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Cook started his career in the youth team at Coventry City where he won an FA Youth Cup medal. Mychal "Mike" Cook is a Canadian retired soccer player who spent his career in the USISL. He is the head coach of the Central Oklahoma Bronchos women's soccer team. Player 1984–1985 Cook attended Bethany Nazarene College, playing on the men's soccer team in 1984 and 1985. In 1986, Cook joined the newly created Oklahoma City Warriors of the Southwest Indoor Soccer League. The Warriors finished third in the regular season, falling to the Lubbock Lazers in the first round of the playoffs. During the 1987–88 Southwest Indoor Soccer League, Cook finished fifth on the scoring list with twenty-seven goals. The Warriors again made the playoffs, winning the league championship over the Austin Sockadillos. Cook was the playoff MVP. Michael Cook (born 9 April 1951) is an English former professional footballer who played as a right back. Cook spent his entire career with Colchester United, making 614 appearances in the Football League and holds the all-time club record for appearances. During his career he was part of the side which won the Watney Cup and that beat Leeds United in the FA Cup. After retiring he became a youth coach at Colchester as well as having a brief spell as caretaker manager in 1999. His time at the club was ended in 2004 when he was made redundant by the club. Michael Cook (born 25 August 1968) is an Aboriginal Australian photographic artist of Bidjara (south-western Queensland) heritage, whose work is held in major Australian galleries. He strives to promote understanding of Indigenous Australian culture and history in his work, and is the winner of two Deadly Awards. Early life and education Michael Cook was born on 25 August 1968 in Brisbane, Queensland. He was raised by adoptive parents Ronda and Keith Cook, who were not Indigenous, but brought him up to value and nurture his Aboriginal identity. His natural mother, Valda Cook (no relation to the adoptive Cooks), was a white teenager.
