Mike Brisky
Michael Charles Brisky (born May 28, 1965) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Brisky attended Pan American University (now called the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) where he was a standout member of the men's golf team from 1982 through 1986. He was inducted into the university's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012. Brisky joined the PGA Tour in 1994, earning his Tour card through qualifying school. He didn't play well enough to retain his Tour card but earned his card for the following year through qualifying school. He also played on the Nationwide Tour that year and won the Nike Texarkana Open. He did a lot better on the PGA Tour in 1995 and finished 92nd on the money list. The highlight of his year came at the Buick Open where he lost in a playoff to Woody Austin. Southlake, Texas
Southlake is a city located predominantly in Tarrant County with minor areas extending into Denton County in the U.S. state of Texas. Southlake is a suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth. As of th2019 census estimateit had a population of 32,376. The Open Championship
The Open Championship, often referred to as The Open or the British Open, is the oldest golf tournament in the world, and one of the most prestigious. Founded in 1860, it was originally held annually at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland. Later the venue rotated between a select group of coastal links golf courses in the United Kingdom. It is organised by the R&A. The Open is one of the four men's major golf tournaments, the others being the Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open. Masters Tournament
The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Scheduled for the first full week of April, the Masters is the first major of the year, and unlike the others, it is always held at the same location, Augusta National Golf Club, a private course in the city of Augusta, Georgia, in the southeastern United States. The Masters was started by amateur champion Bobby Jones and investment banker Clifford Roberts. After his grand slam in 1930, Jones acquired the former plant nursery and co-designed Augusta National with course architect Alister MacKenzie.
