Mike Bare
Michael Andrew "Mike" Bare (born March 1983) is an American policy analyst and Democratic politician from Verona, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 80th Assembly district since January 2023. He is also currently a member of the Dane County board of supervisors and previously served as a legislative aide to United States senator Russ Feingold. Biography Mike Bare was born and raised in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He graduated from Manitowoc's Lincoln High School in 2001 and went on to attend American University in Washington, D.C. He earned his bachelor's degree from American in 2006 and went on to earn his master's degree in 2010. Since 2013, he has been employed as research director and program coordinator for Community Advocates Public Policy Institute. Wisconsin's 80th Assembly District
The 80th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in south-central Wisconsin, the district comprises most of southwest Dane County and parts of the northwest Green County and southeast Iowa County. It includes the city of Verona and the southern half of the city of Fitchburg, as well as the villages of Belleville, Hollandale, Mount Horeb, and New Glarus. District 80 also includes dozens of small non-contiguous islands within the 78th District primarily in currently and previously unincorporated islands in the city of Madison. A beer garden (German: ''Biergarten'') is an outdoor area in which beer and food are served, typically at shared tables shaded by trees. Beer gardens originated in Bavaria, of which Munich is the capital city, in the 19th century, and remain common in Southern Germany. The Wisconsin State Assembly elections of 2022 were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. This was the first election to take place after redistricting following the 2020 United States census. Wisconsin Elections Commission
The Wisconsin Elections Commission is a bipartisan regulatory agency of the State of Wisconsin established to administer and enforce election laws in the state. The Wisconsin Elections Commission was established by a 2015 act of the Wisconsin Legislature which also established the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to administer campaign finance, ethics, and lobbying laws.
