Midnight Sun (Beast EP)
''Midnight Sun'' is the fifth Extended play, EP and the sixth overall by South Korean boy band Beast (South Korean band), Beast. It was released on July 22, 2012, with "Beautiful Night" as the Promotional recording, promotional track. "Midnight (Beast song), Midnight" was released one week before the EP's release, on July 15, 2012. Background On May 16, 2012, Beast's South Korean comeback was hinted at in tweets to the B2UTYs (Beast fan club) by Cube Entertainment CEO Hong Seong-sung. According to Hong, "All you B2UTYs, we are planning on making the greatest comeback ever known". On July 3, Beast was seen in a week-long music-video shoot in New York City (from July 1 until July 7). It was the group's first music video filmed outside South Korea. Beast (South Korean Band)
Highlight (Korean: ) is a South Korean boy band formerly known as Beast (Korean: 비스트). The band consists of four members: Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon. Originally a six-piece band, Jang Hyun-seung departed from the group in April 2016, and Yong Jun-hyung departed in March 2019. In late 2016, the group moved labels from Cube Entertainment to Around Us Entertainment and subsequently changed their name to Highlight in 2017. Yoon Doo-joon (born July 4, 1989), better known mononymously as Doojoon, is a South Korean singer and actor. He is the leader of the South Korean boy group Highlight. Early life Yoon Doo-joon was born in Goyang, South Korea on July 4, 1989. His dream of becoming a high school Physical Education teacher changed suddenly during his second year of high school after watching MTV's ''Big Bang Documentary''. His parents and teachers didn't agree with him at first, though he pleaded with them to register him for music school and he soon started auditioning to become a singer. History ''Inkigayo'' debuted as ''SBS Popular Song'' in 1991 as a chart show, but was canceled in fall 1993 because it was replaced by TV Gayo 20 (TV 가요20). Yang Yo-seob (born January 5, 1990), more commonly known as Yoseob, is a South Korean singer and musical actor. He is the main vocalist of the boy group Highlight. Biography Yang was born in Seoul, South Korea on January 5, 1990, in a small family with one older sister, Yang Hae-yeon. His name Yoseob was the Hanja version of the name Joseph, which was later sinicized by the decision of his grand father.
