Mid-Beach
Mid-Beach is a section of the city of Miami Beach, Florida. It is portion of the city which encompasses the area north of 23rd Street and the Indian Creek and south of Surprise Lake and 63rd Street. It collectively refers to neighborhoods including Oceanfront, Bayshore, and Nautilus. The main street of the mid-beach section is 41st Street. It is the center of Jewish life in Miami Beach. South Beach
South Beach, also nicknamed colloquially as SoBe, is a neighborhood in Miami Beach, Florida. It is located east of Miami between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The area encompasses Miami Beach south of Dade Boulevard. This area was the first section of Miami Beach to be developed, starting in the 1910s, due to the development efforts of Carl G. Fisher, the Lummus Brothers, and John S. Collins, the latter of whose construction of the Collins Bridge provided the first vital land link between mainland Miami and the beaches. The area has gone through numerous artificial and natural changes over the years, including a booming regional economy, increased tourism, and the 1926 hurricane, which destroyed much of the area. North Beach is a neighborhood of the city of Miami Beach, Florida. It is the northernmost section of the city, roughly bound by 63rd Street and Indian Creek Drive to the south and 87th Terrace to the north. Collins Waterfront Architectural District
The Collins Waterfront Architectural District is a historic district in Miami Beach, Florida, that includes 110 contributing buildings and structures built in the late 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, centering on Collins Avenue. The predominant styles include moderne, Art Deco and Mediterranean Revival architecture, as well as the local Miami Modern style. The chief contributing resources are large resort hotels. The district is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east, and by 24th Street, Indian Creek Drive, Pine Tree Drive and the Collins Canal. The district is part of Mid-Beach. The Blue and Green Diamonds are twin towers in Miami Beach, Florida, United States. They are both and 44 floors. They are the tallest buildings in Miami Beach, and were both completed in 2000. The towers, mirror image of each other, share a full service, stand-alone Clubhouse building designed to look like the early mansions of the rich and famous that once dotted the 1920s Miami Beach shoreline. The Eden Roc Miami Beach is a resort hotel at 4525 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. The building contains the Nobu Hotel Miami Beach. It was designed by Morris Lapidus in the Miami Modern style, and was completed in 1955–56. Renovated in 2008, the hotel has 621 guest rooms, including 96 suites. It was built on the site of the Warner Estate following litigation over development rights to the site and to the neighboring Firestone Estate, which became the Fontainebleau Hotel.
