''Microsternus tricolor'' is a species of pleasing fungus beetle in the family Erotylidae. It is endemic to China, Taiwan, Russia and Japan. The species' name comes from Greek and Latin, "tricolor" meaning "three colors". Description ''Microsternus tricolor'' are 3 to 5 mm long and 1.4 to 2.4 mm wide.
