Michiko Hattori ( ja, 服部道子, born 8 September 1968) is a Japanese professional golfer and former Player of the Year on the LPGA of Japan Tour. Before turning professional, she became the first Japanese born champion of the U.S. Women's Amateur. Amateur career Hattori was among the most decorated amateur and collegiate golfers in history. At age 16 in 1985 she became the third youngest, and only Japanese born, champion of the U.S. Women's Amateur, and in 1986 became the first golfer to win medalist honors at the U.S. Women's Amateur and U.S. Girls' Junior in the same year. Hattori is a three-time U.S. Women's Amateur stroke play medalist (1985–1987), and the youngest ever winner of the Japan Women's Amateur Championship (age 14). She won three Japan Women's Amateur titles and the 1988 Canadian Women's Amateur. Jeong Jang
Jeong Jang ( ko, 장정, born 11 June 1980) is a South Korean professional golfer who played on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She was also a member of the LPGA of Korea Tour. Jang was born in Daejeon, South Korea. She started playing golf at the age of thirteen. As a teenager she won the 1997 Korea Women's Open and the 1998 Korea Women's Amateur. She attended Joongbu University. After qualifying for the LPGA Tour at her first attempt, Jang had a successful rookie season in 2000 including a second-place finish. She reached twelfth on the money list in 2004 and in that year had nine finishes in the top ten. In July 2005 she won for the first time, claiming the Women's British Open, which is one of the women's majors, by four shots. She claimed her second LPGA win in 2006 at the Wegmans LPGA. The 1986 Espirito Santo Trophy took place 14–17 October at Lagunita Country Club in Caracas, Venezuela. It was the 12th women's golf World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 27 team entries, each with three players. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. The Spain team won the trophy, earning the title for the first time, beating team France by three strokes. Annika Charlotta Sörenstam (; born 9 October 1970) is a Swedish professional golfer. She is regarded as one of the best female golfers in history. Before stepping away from competitive golf at the end of the 2008 season, she had won 90 international tournaments as a professional, making her the female golfer with the most wins to her name.
