Michigander (band)
Michigander is an American rock band created in 2014 from Kalamazoo, Michigan. It is the solo project centered around its vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist frontman, Jason Singer. The band is joined by touring musicians and frequent collaborators Jake LeMond on guitar, Aaron Senor on drums, and Connor Robertson on bass guitar. Michigander's first song, the self-released ''Nineties'' single, debuted in 2016, followed by additional singles, including ''Mexico'', and ''ATL'', an '' Audiotree'' live session extended play, and the 2018 self-released ''Midland'' extended play, consisting of 6 tracks, all written solely by Singer. Since then, the project has released three extended plays with '' C3 Records'' including ''Where Do We Go From Here'' (2019), ''Everything Will Be OK Eventually'' (2021), and the most recent, ''It Will Never Be The Same'' (2023) which was recorded at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California. The Crofoot
The Crofoot is a mixed-use independent entertainment complex made up of 3 venues in one building (The Crofoot Ballroom, The Pike Room, The Vernors Room) in Pontiac, Michigan. The Crofoot is a busy concert venue for popular music acts, and other larger private events or festivals. All-age shows as well as adult-only concerts are held. History Pontiac is the first inland city of Michigan. The Pontiac Company plotted it in 1818 where the Saginaw Indian Trail (Woodward Avenue) crossed the Schiawassee Indian Trail (Orchard Lake Road). The Clinton River created double peninsula where it snaked through what would become downtown Pontiac. Austin City Limits Music Festival
The Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival is an annual music festival held in Zilker Park in Austin, Texas on two consecutive three-day weekends. Inspired by the KLRU/PBS music series of the same name, the festival is produced by Austin-based company C3 Presents, which also produces Chicago's Lollapalooza. The ACL Music Festival has eight stages where musical groups from genres including rock, indie, country, folk, electronic, and hip hop perform for fans. The concerts continue from 10 AM to 10 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the festival with various stages spread out in the park. Approximately 450,000 people attend the festival each year. In addition to the music performances, there are food and drinks, an art market, a kids area for families, and other activities for attendees.
