''Michhil'' (The Procession) is a Bengali political drama film directed by Surajit Nag and Ujjwal Basu. This film was based on ''Shreemoyee'', a novel of Pracheta Gupta. This was released on 24 January 2020 under the banner of Surajit Nag Films. Plot The plot revolves with the life of Shreemoyee. She is the only daughter of a middle-class family. Her marriage is fix with Tapodhir. Incidentally she joins in a political rally which makes serious problems for her marriage. Highly ambitious Shreemoyee cancels her marriage, starts her political career and enters into the dirty world of politics. It changes her life forever. Basabdatta Chatterjee
Basabdatta Chatterjee is a Bengali actress who mainly works in Bengali television serials. She made her debut in the popular soap ''Gaaner Oparey'' directed by Rituparno Ghosh. She rose to fame by acting in the lead female role in the comedy soap ''Boyei Gelo'', which aired on Zee Bangla. But later, due to other engagements, she stopped acting in the serial. Boyei Gelo was Basabdatta's seventh work. Subsequently, she worked in a daily soap ''Mon Niye Kachakachi'' on Star Jalsha, where she acted the role of Dr. Labanya Sanyal Kapoor. Shantilal Mukherjee is an Indian actor associated with Bengali-language theatre and films. Biography Mukherjee was born in Kolkata. He lost his father in an early age.
