Basabdatta Chatterjee
Basabdatta Chatterjee is a Bengali actress who mainly works in Bengali television serials. She made her debut in the popular soap ''Gaaner Oparey'' directed by Rituparno Ghosh. She rose to fame by acting in the lead female role in the comedy soap ''Boyei Gelo'', which aired on Zee Bangla. But later, due to other engagements, she stopped acting in the serial. Boyei Gelo was Basabdatta's seventh work. Subsequently, she worked in a daily soap ''Mon Niye Kachakachi'' on Star Jalsha, where she acted the role of Dr. Labanya Sanyal Kapoor. Currently, she acts as Netaji Subash Chandra Bose's mother Prabhabati Devi on Zee Bangla's daily soap ''Netaji''. Basabdatta's first movie was 'Labour of Love' (''Asha Jaoar Majhe'') which was released on 2 September 2014. Ritwick Chakraborty is an Indian actor who works in Bengali cinema. He made his debut with Pagol Premi in 2007. He plays different roles in different sorts of movies, so he is a versatile actor in Bengali Film Industry. Career Chakraborty was associated with Bengali theatre from a very early age. Chitra Sen is an Indian actress and dancer who works in Bengali language films and television series. She has worked mainly in theatres, but she has also worked in films and on television. She started her career under Jnyanesh Mukhopadhyay. She has also worked with Rabi Ghosh. In '' Swapnasandhani'', she has worked with her son Kaushik Sen. Personal life Chitra Sen (Chitra Mandal) was born in Calcutta (now Kolkata) in a Bengali family. Her father was Panchu Gopal Mandal and her mother was Arati Mandal. Sourendra Mohan Mukherjee (1 March 1930 – 6 December 2020), known as Monu Mukhopadhyay, was an Indian actor who worked in Bengali language films and television serials. In 1958, he became a prompter. Mahuaa Bangla was an Indian Bengali language, Bengali-language general entertainment television channel launched by Mahuaa Media Private Limited, launched in 2010. ''Dadagiri Unlimited'' is an Indian Bengali language quiz show. The programme has been airing on Zee Bangla since 2009. Sourav Ganguly, the former captain of the India national cricket team and the current president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, hosted the first two seasons. Actor Mithun Chakraborty replaced him in the third season, but he continued hosting the show replacing Chakraborty from the fourth season onwards. The contestants are chosen by a preliminary selection round held in different parts of the state West Bengal, and every contestant represents their respective districts of West Bengal.
