Michel Wolter
Michel Wolter (born 13 September 1962 in Luxembourg City) is a Luxembourgian politician. He was the youngest-ever member of the Chamber of Deputies when elected in 1984, and served as Minister for the Interior from 1995 to 2004. He is also a businessman and a former international table tennis player. Michel Wolter grew up in Esch-sur-Alzette, second largest city of the country. He studied economics at the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne from 1981 to 1985. Wolter was an international table tennis player from 1980 to 1984. He was elected to the Chamber of Deputies at the 1984 election, on the Christian Social People's Party ticket. Aged 21 at that time, he is today still the youngest ever elected member. He was directly reelected in 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2013 . From 1985 to 1990, Wolter was chairman of the youth organisation of his party. Esch-sur-Alzette (; lb, Esch-Uelzecht ; german: Esch an der Alzette or ''Esch an der Alzig'') is the second city of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the country's second-most populous commune, with a population of 35,040 inhabitants, . Jean-Louis Schiltz
Jean-Louis Schiltz (born 14 August 1964 in Luxembourg City) is a Luxembourgian lawyer and retired politician for the Christian Social People's Party (CSV). Early life and education Schiltz studied law in Luxembourg and Paris, and became a lawyer in 1989. Career Schiltz was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2004 and subsequently served as minister in Jean-Claude Juncker's government, including as Minister for Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs and Minister delegate for communications. Lucien Weiler (born 3 August 1951 in Ettelbruck) is a Luxembourgian politician and jurist. He is a member of the Christian Social People's Party, and served as President of the Chamber of Deputies from 3 August 2004 to 7 June 2009. He was first elected to the Chamber at the 1984 election, representing the Nord circonscription. Paul Helminger (28 October 1940 – 16 April 2021) was a Luxembourgish politician who was Mayor of Luxembourg City from 1999 to November 2011. He was a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the Democratic Party (from 1994 to 2012, and previously from 1984 until 1989). Biography Born in Esch-sur-Alzette in 1940, Paul Helminger moved with his family to Belair, a quarter in western Luxembourg City, when he was one year old. After he attained his baccalaureate in the Athénée de Luxembourg in 1959, Helminger went on to study law at the Sorbonne in Paris until 1963. At the same time, he also studied at the Institut d'Études Politiques and attained a degree in international relations in 1963.
