Michal Papadopulos
Michal Papadopulos (born 14 April 1985) is a Czech professional footballer who most recently played as a forward for Czech club MFK Karviná. Career Papadopulos started his football career in his native Ostrava at NH Ostrava, and then Baník Ostrava. He moved early to English club Arsenal in July 2003. He played one first-team match for Arsenal, in a League Cup match against Wolverhampton Wanderers as a substitute for Jérémie Aliadière. He returned to Baník in 2004. Papadopulos won the Czech Cup with Baník in 2005. In December 2005, he moved to German club Bayer Leverkusen, spending some time on loan at side Energie Cottbus before signing with Czech side Mladá Boleslav in June 2008. In June 2009, SC Heerenveen signed the Czech forward from Mladá Boleslav on a five-year contract. The Czech Republic national under-19 football team is the national under-19 football team of the Czech Republic and is controlled by the Football Association of the Czech Republic. 2018–19 Ekstraklasa
The 2018–19 Ekstraklasa was the 93rd season of the Polish Football Championship, the 85th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 11th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title. The league was operated by the Ekstraklasa SA. The season started on 20 July 2018 and concluded on 19 May 2019. It is the second Ekstraklasa season to use VAR. After the 20th matchday the league went on a winter break between 23 December 2018 and 8 February 2019. The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament. A total of 16 teams participated, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2017–18 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the 2017–18 I liga. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. Contested by 18 clubs, operating a system of promotion and relegation with the I liga, seasons start in July, and end in May or June the following year. Teams play a total of 34 games each. The Czech Cup ( cs, Pohár FAČR), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. It is organised by the Czech Football Association. The Czech Cup was first held in 1961. The winner would then face the winner of the Slovak Cup in the Czechoslovak Cup final. This competition was discontinued in 1993, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia into two independent states (Czech Republic and Slovakia). Jérémie Aliadière (born 30 March 1983) is a French former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Striker (association football), striker. As a graduate of the elite INF Clairefontaine, Clairefontaine academy, he signed for Arsenal F.C., Arsenal at the age of 16. During his career he also played for Celtic F.C., Celtic in the Scottish Premier League, West Ham United F.C., West Ham United in the Premier League, and Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., Wolverhampton Wanderers, before returning to Arsenal for another season. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them.
