Michael Prendergast is an American songwriter and producer. His songs have been recorded by such artists as Ké, Nina Z, Michael Popov, Tammy Infusino, Raúl Moreno, Richelle, Zhana, and many others. The majority of Michael Prendergast's songs are in the dance/pop and ballad genres, the most successful of which to date has been his collaboration with RCA Records' Ké. The single " Strange World," co-written by Michael, became a smash hit in Europe, topping the airplay charts in countries such as Italy France Spain Portugal and Germany. Mike Prendergast (rugby Union)
Mike Prendergast (born 21 May 1977) is an Irish rugby union coach who started his professional playing career with Munster. He also played a season with both Bourgoin in France and Gloucester in England before returning for one final season with Munster. He played as a scrum-half and represented Young Munster in the All-Ireland League. Having previously been director of rugby for amateur Irish club Young Munster, Prendergast joined French club Grenoble as a skills coach in 2013, where former Leinster and Ireland hooker Bernard Jackman was then defence coach. Ahead of the 2017–18 Top 14 season, Prendergast joined Oyonnax as their attack coach, before joining Stade Français, where former Munster teammate Paul O'Connell was also a coach, as their backs and attack coach for the 2018–19 season, after Oyonnax were relegated from the Top 14. Mike Prendergast (baseball)
Michael Thomas Prendergast (December 15, 1888 – November 18, 1967) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball. His nickname during his playing years was "Iron Mike". Mike was born in Arlington, Illinois to parents, Jeremiah Prendergast and Catherine Louise Corcoran, both natives of County Waterford, Ireland. In 1914 and 1915, he pitched for the Chicago Whales of the Federal League. When the Federal League ceased operations in 1915 and merged with the Chicago Cubs, Mike joined the Cubs organization. He pitched with the Cubs in 1916 and 1917. After the 1917 season, he was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies where he played in 1918 and 1919. Micheál Prendergast
Micheál Anthony Prendergast (c.1921 – 25 March 1998) was an Irish farmer and trader, businessman and company director, and Fine Gael politician. He was born in Farranfore, County Kerry and was raised in Kilcock, County Kildare. He married his Australian wife Barbara in 1959, and they had one son and six daughters. He was a member of the Irish Live Stock Exporters' and Traders' Association and was its chairman in 1961 and 1969. He was a member of the national executive of the Irish Livestock Trade and was its chairman in 1970. He was a member of the Dublin Port and Docks Board. He spent many years in the livestock export business. He was a council member of the Agricultural Institute, now known as Teagasc, from 1960 to 1963. Mick Prendergast
Mick Prendergast (24 November 1950 – 29 April 2010) was an English professional footballer whose career lasted from 1969 to 1979 during which time he made a total of 232 appearances in all competitions, scoring 62 goals. He was a forward player who played for Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley. Prendergast was a popular player in his time at Hillsborough and went by the nickname of "Prendo". Prendergast was born in the South Yorkshire village of Denaby Main on 24 November 1950. Playing career As a youth footballer he played for Yorkshire Boys and Don and Dearne Boys before joining Sheffield Wednesday as a 15-year-old apprentice in October 1966.
