Michael Prendergast (songwriter)
Michael Prendergast is an American songwriter and producer. His songs have been recorded by such artists as Ké, Nina Z, Michael Popov, Tammy Infusino, Raúl Moreno, Richelle, Zhana, and many others. The majority of Michael Prendergast's songs are in the dance/pop and ballad genres, the most successful of which to date has been his collaboration with RCA Records' Ké. The single " Strange World," co-written by Michael, became a smash hit in Europe, topping the airplay charts in countries such as Italy France Spain Portugal and Germany. "Strange World" is a song by American singer Ké and the lead single from the debut album ''I am '. It was produced by Rick Neigher and Ké and written by Ké and Michael Prendergast. Junior Vasquez (born Donald Gregory Mattern, August 24, 1949) is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. He has been referred to as one of the only DJs of his time to gain international attention. Career Mattern moved to New York City as a young man of 25 in 1971 with ambitions of becoming a fashion designer, briefly attending Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and working for a while as a hairdresser. Mattern soon became fascinated with NYC nightlife especially the work of DJ Larry Levan at the Paradise Garage. He adopted the pseudonym "Junior Vasquez", taken from the Latino neighborhoods he frequented, despite his Italian and German ancestry, as a way to "reinvent" himself. HIM (Finnish Band)
HIM (sometimes stylized as H.I.M.) was a Finnish gothic rock band from Helsinki. First formed in 1991 by vocalist Ville Valo and bassist Mige (musician), Mikko "Mige" Paananen under the name His Infernal Majesty, the band broke up after only a few years, only to be reformed in 1995 by Valo and guitarist Linde Lindström, Mikko "Linde" Lindström.
