Michael Makuei Lueth
Michael Makuei Lueth is a South Sudanese politician. He is the current Information, Communication, Technology, and Postal Services Minister in the Revitalised Transitional Government of National Unity (RTGoNU). He is also the current Government Spokeperson. Lueth hails from Bor, in a payam called Makuac payam and a clan called Koc. He joined the Sudan People's Liberation Army(SPLA) in 1983 to fight for the liberation of South Sudan along with his other comrades. He graduated as a lawyer at the University of Khartoum in 1977 and worked as a legal Counsel and as a Judge. It is with this background that he has been serving as the minister of information in the transitional government of National Unity in the Republic of South Sudan as of 2022. South Sudan
South Sudan (; din, Paguot Thudän), officially the Republic of South Sudan ( din, Paankɔc Cuëny Thudän), is a landlocked country in East Africa. It is bordered by Ethiopia, Sudan, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda and Kenya. Its population was estimated as 12,778,250 in 2019. The Ministry of Information, Communication, Technology and Postal Services is a ministry of the Government of South Sudan. The incumbent minister is Michael Makuei Lueth, while Baba Medan serves as deputy minister. The Cabinet of South Sudan is the Executive Branch of the Government of South Sudan. The Cabinet members are appointed by the President and report to the President.
