Michael Lado Allah-Jabu
Michael Lado Thomas Allah-Jabu (born January 1, 1972) is a South Sudanese politician. He is the former mayor of Juba City Council in Central Equatoria State as of 2023. Allah-Jabu was appointed by Central Equatoria State Governor, Emmanuel Adil Anthony in November 19, 2021, replacing Kalisto Lado who was removed in a gubernatorial decree. On June 27, 2023, Allah-Jabu was removed from office by the Government of Central Equatoria state serving over a year and 6 months. Juba
Juba () is the capital and largest city of South Sudan. The city is situated on the White Nile and also serves as the capital of the Central Equatoria State. It is the world's newest capital city to be elevated as such, and had a population of 525,953 in 2017. It has an area of , with the metropolitan area covering . Juba was established in 1920–21 by the Church Missionary Society (CMS) in a small Bari village, also called Juba. The city was made as the capital of Mongalla Province in the late 1920s. Central Equatoria
Central Equatoria is a state in South Sudan. With an area of , it is the smallest of the original South Sudanese states. Its previous name was Bahr al-Jabal (also Bahr-el-Jebel), named after a tributary of the White Nile that flows through the state. It was renamed Central Equatoria in the first Interim Legislative Assembly on 1 April 2005 under the government of Southern Sudan. Central Equatoria seceded from Sudan as part of the Republic of South Sudan on 9 July 2011. The state's capital, Juba, is also the national capital of South Sudan. Emmanuel Adil Anthony
Emmanuel Adil Anthony is a South Sudanese politician and the governor of Central Equatoria State since June 29th, 2020. Adil is an ethnic Kakwa. President Kiir appointed Adil as the governor of Yei River State on February 16th, 2018, replacing David Lokonga Moses. As governor, Adil said he wanted to restore peace and stability to Yei River State by reconciling with armed groups. Adil reshuffled his cabinet and replaced some county commissioners around June 17th, 2018. Adil supported the peace agreement in August 2018 that aimed to end the South Sudanese Civil War. South Sudanese refugees began returning to Yei River State from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda at the beginning of 2019. Adil reshuffled his cabinet again on August 22, 2019. Nimule
Nimule is a city in the southern part of South Sudan in Magwi County, Eastern Equatoria. It lies approximately , by road, southeast of Juba, the capital of South Sudan and largest city in the country. The town also lies approximately , by road, north of Gulu, Uganda, the nearest large city. Overview and history In 1901, Nimule was the base for a British punitive expedition against the Lango, which had raided neighbouring districts. The Longo had been supported by Sudanese mutineers, who were all captured or killed by the British force. Augustino Jadalla Wani
Augustino Jadalla Wani (born 26 June 1963); born Augustino Jada Wani, is a South Sudanese politician who served as the deputy minister of interior and wildlife conservation (2013–2015) and later as the governor of the now defunct Jubek State.(2015–2020) He was appointed and served as the governor of Jubek State, South Sudan, on 24 December 2015. He was the first and only governor of the state, which was created by President Salva Kiir on 2 October 2015. James Wani Igga
James Wani Igga (born 1949) is a South Sudanese who was the second vice president of South Sudan. He was speaker of the National Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2013 and secretary general of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement. On 30 May 2020, he tested positive for COVID-19.
