Michael Kutzop
Michael Kutzop (born 24 March 1955) is a German former professional footballer who played as a defender. He spent seven seasons in the Bundesliga with Kickers Offenbach and SV Werder Bremen. Kutzop took arguably the most famous penalty kick in the history of Bundesliga. On the penultimate game day of the 1985–86 season Kutzop's league-leading SV Werder Bremen were playing second-placed Bayern Munich. Werder's victory in that game would guarantee them the title. With the score of 0–0 Kutzop took the penalty kick in the 88th minute and hit the right goalpost. The game ended 0–0. On the last game day Bayern Munich beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 6–0, Werder lost 2–1 to VfB Stuttgart (the team they beat 6–0 earlier in the season) and Bayern took the title on goal difference. Lubliniec
Lubliniec (german: Lublinitz) is a town in southern Poland with 23,784 inhabitants (2019). It is the capital of Lubliniec County, part of Silesian Voivodeship (since 1999); previously it was in Częstochowa Voivodeship (1975–1998). The 1984–85 Bundesliga was the 22nd season of the Bundesliga, the premier football league in West Germany. It began on 24 August 1984 and ended on 8 June 1985. VfB Stuttgart were the defending champions. Competition modus Every team played two games against each other team, one at home and one away. Teams received two points for a win and one point for a draw. If two or more teams were tied on points, places were determined by goal difference and, if still tied, by goals scored. Kickers is a youth brand created in 1970 in France that produces a wide range of footwear and clothing. Kickers was bought in 2007 by the Royer group. Kickers are primarily popular amongst British school children, with Kickers 'Lo' style shoes being a popular choice of school shoes for British boys attending secondary school. The 1988 DFB-Supercup was the second DFB-Supercup, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal competitions. The match was played at the Waldstadion in Frankfurt, and contested by league champions Werder Bremen and cup winners Eintracht Frankfurt. Bremen won the match 2–0 for their first title.
