Michael Konelios is a Marshallese politician and government minister. As of 2012 he was the Minister of Resources and Development. Konelios was involved in the negotiation with Taiwan to provide solar-powered streetlights to the Marshall Islands. Tony DeBrum
Tony deBrum (also Anton deBrum) (February 26, 1945 – August 22, 2017) was a Marshallese politician and government minister. His cabinet posts included Minister in Assistance to the President of Marshall Islands, Minister of Finance, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Education. Life and Career DeBrum was born in Tuvalu as the Pacific War was nearing its conclusion. The family later moved to Likiep Atoll. His father was a manager at Marshall Islands International Airport, while his mother was a teacher. One formative experience for him as a child was witnessing the fallout from nuclear testing at Bikini Atoll. He witnessed the sky turn "blood red" when out fishing with his grandfather as a nine-year-old boy. Brenson Wase
Brenson S. Wase (born 28 May 1952) is a Marshallese people, Marshallese politician and a long-time Cabinet of the Marshall Islands, member of the cabinet and senator in Nitijela. Wase was born in Arno Atoll in 1952. He has a degree in business administration. He was first elected in 1983 as senator from Arno Atoll. He was appointed by President Amata Kabua as Minister of Social Services in January 1984. In 1987 he was appointed as Minister of Resources and Development. Kessai Hesa Note (born August 7, 1950 in Ailinglaplap) was President of the Marshall Islands from 2000 to 2008. Elected in 1979 alongside Litokwa Tomeing, Note is one of the two longest-serving members of Nitijeļā. He was the Minister of Internal affairs from 1985 to 1986, and Minister of Transportation and communications from 1986 to 1987.
