Mike Connors (vaudevillian)
Michael Aloysius Connors (1891–1949) was an American-born Australian vaudevillian and radio presenter. Biography He was born in New York and came to Australia in 1916 on a six-month stage contract as part of a vaudeville act, contracted by Benjamin Fuller. In 1932, Con-Paul Theatres took over the lease of the Grand Opera House in Sydney and renamed it the New Tivoli Theatre. The couple had three children together, Celestine, Colleen and Paul. Krekor Ohanian (August 15, 1925 – January 26, 2017), known professionally as Mike Connors, was an American actor best known for playing private detective Joe Mannix in the CBS television series ''Mannix'' from 1967 to 1975, a role which earned him a Golden Globe Award in 1970, the first of six straight nominations, as well as four consecutive Emmy nominations from 1970 to 1973. He starred in the short-lived series ''Tightrope!'' (1959–1960) and ''Today's FBI'' (1981–1982). Connors' acting career spanned six decades. In addition to his work on television, he appeared in numerous films, including ''Sudden Fear'' (1952), ''Good Neighbor Sam'' (1964), '' Situation Hopeless... But Not Serious'' (1965), ''Stagecoach'' (1966), ''Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die'' (1966), and ''Too Scared to Scream'' (1985), which he also produced. Pinocchio's Revenge
''Pinocchio's Revenge'' is a 1996 American psychological slasher film written and directed by Kevin S. Tenney and distributed by Trimark Pictures. It stars Rosalind Allen and Todd Allen and was released direct-to-video. The film's plot concerns a lawyer who brings home a wooden puppet that was found buried with a boy supposedly killed by his father. Her 8-year-old daughter Zoe sees the doll and takes it as her own. Soon accidents start happening and Jennifer struggles to find the cause as she begins to question her daughter's wellbeing and whether or not there may be something sinister to the doll. The Mayor of Holyoke is the head of the executive branch of the municipal government of Holyoke, Massachusetts responsible for presenting an initial budget to the city council, and appointing key office holders such as the chief of police and fire commissioners. Although members of both major parties have successfully run for office since the city's incorporation, elections for municipal positions are officially nonpartisan, on the ballot candidates do not run as members of any political party, nor require backing of one in any official capacity. When Holyoke was incorporated as a city, initially the mayoral term given in the 1874 charter was for the mayor to serve a single-year term, being elected at the end of the municipal year. This was subsequently raised to two years during the mayoralty of William P. Yoerg in 1936, and from two to four years during that of Alex B. Morse in 2015.
