Michael Caton
Michael Caton (born 21 July 1943) is an Australian television, film and stage actor, comedian and television host, best known for playing Uncle Harry in the Australian television series ''The Sullivans'', Darryl Kerrigan in 1997's low-budget hit film '' The Castle'', and Ted Taylor in the television series ''Packed to the Rafters''. He is married to Helen Esakoff. Caton has been inducted into the Australian Film Walk of Fame in honour of his work in Australia's cinema and television industries. His son Septimus narrates ''My Kitchen Rules'' and ''Robot Wars''. Media career Television In 1976 Caton starred as Uncle Harry Sullivan in the long running Channel 9 war family drama ''The Sullivans''. Monto is a rural town and locality in the North Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia. In the , Monto had a population of 1,156 people. Geography Monto is located on the Burnett Highway north-west of Brisbane and south of Rockhampton. The Gladstone–Monto Road intersects with the Burnett Highway in the town. The main street in the town is Newton Street. History Gureng Gureng (also known as Gooreng Gooreng, Goreng Goreng, Goeng, Gurang, Goorang Goorang, Korenggoreng) is an Australian Aboriginal language spoken by the Gureng Gureng people. The Gooreng Gooreng language region includes the towns of Bundaberg, Gin Gin and Miriam Vale extending south towards Childers, inland to Monto and Mt Perry. Dick Turner
Richard Turner (19 August 1932 – 16 June 2008), a.k.a. "Tosser", was a rugby league manager. Turner was born in 1932 and played in the Brisbane Rugby League The Brisbane Rugby League is a rugby league football competition in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was first held in 1922 and for every year until 1997. ''The Flying Doctors'' is an Australian drama TV series produced by Crawford Productions that revolves around the everyday lifesaving efforts of the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, starring Andrew McFarlane as the newly arrived Dr. Tom Callaghan. The popular series ran for nine seasons and was successfully screened internationally. It was initially a 1985 mini-series based in the fictional outback town of Cooper's Crossing (set in the real life town of Minyip in north-western rural Victoria).
