Michael Bresagk
Michael Bresagk (born February 24, 1970) is a German former ice hockey defenceman. Career Bresagk began his career with PEV Weißwasser and then moved to EV Landshut where he spent five season before moving to France to play in the Ligue Magnus for Brest Albatros Hockey, guiding them to the Magnus Cup in his one season in 1997. He then moved back to Germany to play for the Frankfurt Lions. He helped the Lions capture the DEL Championship in 2004, their first in history. Lausitzer Füchse
The Lausitzer Füchse (literally ''Lusatian Foxes'') is a professional ice hockey team based in Weißwasser, Saxony. They currently play in DEL2, the second level of ice hockey in Germany. Prior to the 2013–14 season they played in the 2nd Bundesliga. History The team was founded already in 1932 but is most significant for its remarkable domination as SG Dynamo Weißwasser in the GDR ice hockey league with over 25 championships. The club was part of the sports association of the East German Ministry of National Defence. After the German reunification the team could not hold its strength, financial problems and relegations followed. The Schwenninger Wild Wings are a professional German ice hockey team from Schwenningen am Neckar in Baden-Wuerttemberg that was founded on 31 July 1904 and currently plays in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). The greatest success of the association was to reach the play-off semi-finals of the first Bundesliga in 1990. In 1994 the Wild Wings were a founding member of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. The Wild Wings play their home games in Helios Arena, a 6,193-seater stadium, and the club's colors are blue and white. Landshut Cannibals
EV Landshut, also known as EVL Landshut Eishockey and formerly known as the Landshut Cannibals, are a professional ice hockey team based in Landshut, Bavaria, Germany. They currently play in Deutsche Eishockey Liga 2, the second level of ice hockey in Germany. They were promoted from the third-tier Oberliga in 2019 after winning the Oberliga finals against the Tilburg Trappers. The team was founded in 1948 as ''Eislaufverein Landshut (EVL)'', but since 2002 the professional operations have been incorporated as a separate entity. From 2002 to 2013 the professional team was competing as the Landshut Cannibals; in 2013 the name was changed back to EVL Landshut Eishockey to more closely reflect the tradition and history of the team.
