Michael Adams (presenter)
Michael Adams (born 23 August 1999) is a British television personality. He has appeared on various programmes for CBBC, including ''Show Me What You're Made Of'' with Stacey Dooley. Background Adams was born in Sunderland, though was raised in Houghton-le-Spring, just outside of Durham. He was educated at Houghton Kepier School in the town between 2010 and 2015, continuing studies for a further two years at the Durham Sixth Form Centre. He had shown an interest in television from a young age. He currently resides in Manchester, where he previously studied broadcast journalism at the University of Salford. Career Adams first appeared on television during continuity links on CBBC with Iain Stirling in April 2012. He later went on to appear on Blue Peter with Helen Skelton and Barney Harwood for a few appearances in June 2012, including one on their Big Olympic Tour. Sunderland, Tyne And Wear
Sunderland () is a port city in Tyne and Wear, England. It is the City of Sunderland's administrative centre and in the historic county of Durham. The city is from Newcastle-upon-Tyne and is on the River Wear's mouth to the North Sea. The river also flows through Durham roughly south-west of Sunderland City Centre. It is the only other city in the county and the second largest settlement in the North East after Newcastle upon Tyne. Locals from the city are sometimes known as Mackems. BBC Three
BBC Three is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the BBC. It was first launched on 9 February 2003 with programmes targeting 16 to 34-year-olds, covering all genres including animation, comedy, current affairs, and drama series. The television channel closed down in 2016 and was replaced by an online-only BBC Three streaming channel. After six years of being online, BBC Three returned to linear television on 1 February 2022. Supermarket Sweep (British Game Show)
''Supermarket Sweep'' is a British game show that is based on the original American version. Originally hosted by Dale Winton, it ran for exactly 8 years from 6 September 1993 to 6 September 2001 and then revived from 12 February to 31 August 2007 on ITV. On 13 October 2017, it was announced that FremantleMedia had acquired the global rights to the format and confirmed that the series will return. A Fremantle representative stated that "the time is ripe to bring back this all-time favourite game show which has travelled with such success over the years." Cold feet is a phrase that refers to a person not going through with an action, particularly one which requires long term commitment, due to fear, uncertainty, and doubt. A person is said to be "getting cold feet" when, after previously committing to a plan, they ultimately do not carry out the planned course of action. The ''BBC News at Six'' is the evening news programme bulletin from the BBC. Produced by BBC News, the programme is broadcast on the BBC News (TV channel), BBC News channel and on British television channel BBC One on weekdays at 6:00pm. For a long period, the ''BBC News at Six'' was the most watched news programme in the UK but since 2006 it has been overtaken by the ''BBC News at Ten'' (10:00pm). Liz Dawn
Sylvia Ann Ibbetson (''née'' Butterfield; 8 November 1939 – 25 September 2017), known professionally as Elizabeth Dawn or Liz Dawn, was an English actress, best known for her role as Vera Duckworth in the long-running British soap opera ''Coronation Street''. Phil Williams (born 2 August 1974) is a British radio news reporter and presenter who worked for 18 years on BBC Radio 5 Live until 2019. A graduate of the BBC trainee reporters scheme, Williams soon joined the corporation's Greater Manchester Radio (GMR) station as a newsreader and presenter. His time at the station included reporting in the immediate aftermath of a Provisional IRA bombing in the city.
