Michael A. Sullivan
Michael Anthony Sullivan (born August 26, 1959) is an American politician, lawyer, and civil servant serving as the Clerk of Courts for Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Sullivan also served two terms as mayor of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Early life and education Michael is a member of the Sullivan family of Cambridge. He is the third person in his family to be the mayor of Cambridge following his father and grandfather. He is a graduate of Boston College and Boston College Law School. Career Sullivan served fourteen years as a member of the Cambridge City Council. During his tenure, Sullivan was also selected to serve as mayor. The term magistrate is used in a variety of systems of governments and laws to refer to a civilian officer who administers the law.
