Hurricane Wilma was an extremely intense and destructive Atlantic hurricane which was the most intense storm of its kind and the second-most intense tropical cyclone recorded in the Western Hemisphere, after Hurricane Patricia in 2015. Boo Weekley
Thomas Brent "Boo" Weekley (born July 23, 1973) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Overview Born in Milton, Florida, Weekley turned professional in 1997 and played on mini-tours until 2002, when he qualified for the PGA Tour. He made the cut in only five of 24 events that year, and lost his tour card. From 2003 through 2006, he played on the Nationwide Tour, finishing well enough in 2006 to again qualify for the PGA Tour. His first victory came at the Verizon Heritage in April 2007. Weekley's good form at the start of the 2007 season included two top 10 finishes before his victory, after which he reached a new career high of 55 in the Official World Golf Rankings. Bryce Molder
Bryce Wade Molder (born January 27, 1979) is a former American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour. Early life Molder was born in Harrison, Arkansas and attended public school in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Conway, Arkansas. He has Poland syndrome, as a result of which he was born with no left pectoral muscle, his left hand is smaller than his right and four fingers on his left hand were webbed at birth. He had two surgeries before the age of five to correct the webbing and other issues with his left hand. After starring with the Conway High School Golf team, Molder attended Georgia Tech on a golf scholarship and graduated with a degree in management. Jon Mills
Jon Mills (born March 6, 1978) is a Canadian professional golfer. Mills was born in Oshawa, Ontario, and spent most of his childhood in Belleville, Ontario. He developed his competitive game on the St. Lawrence Junior Tour in southeastern Ontario, and won the Ontario Junior Championship in 1996. He earned a golf scholarship to Kent State University, graduated in 2000, won the Ontario Amateur Championship in 2001, and turned professional later that year. His father David Mills served as Executive Director for Golf Ontario from 1997 to 2014. Mills was a member of the Korn Ferry Tour (formerly known as the Nationwide Tour). David Mathis
David Haynes Mathis (born February 22, 1974) is an American professional golfer. Career Mathis was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He played college golf at Campbell University. He turned professional in 1997. Mathis played on the mini-tours and then on the Canadian Tour from 2001 to 2005. He played on the Nationwide Tour from 2006 to 2008, winning once at the 2008 BMW Charity Pro-Am and earning his PGA Tour card for 2009. He played the PGA Tour in 2009 but did not earn enough to retain his card. Marc Turnesa
Marc Turnesa (born March 19, 1978) is an American professional golfer who has played on the Nationwide Tour and the PGA Tour. He is the grandson of Mike Turnesa, one of seven well-known golfing brothers of the early 20th century. Professional career Turnesa's first professional win was at the 2007 Miccosukee Championship on the Nationwide Tour. He earned his PGA Tour card by finishing in the top-25 of the 2007 Nationwide Tour money list. Turnesa had success in the 2008 PGA Tour Fall Series at the Viking Classic; he led the tournament for the entire week until he double-bogeyed the seventeenth hole on Sunday, eventually losing in a playoff to Will MacKenzie. Matt Bettencourt
Matt Bettencourt (born April 12, 1975) is an American professional golfer. Born in Alameda, California, Bettencourt turned professional in 2001 after attending Modesto Junior College. In 2008, Bettencourt won twice on the Nationwide Tour, at the Oregon Classic in September and a month and a half later at the season-ending Nationwide Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch. The second win took him from 12th to 1st in the money list, therefore earning him his 2009 PGA Tour card. He finished 111th on the PGA Tour money list in 2009 to retain his card for 2010. In 2010, he gained his first PGA Tour win at the Reno-Tahoe Open, one shot ahead of Bob Heintz after Heintz missed a birdie putt on the 72nd hole. This win ensures PGA Tour exemption for Bettencourt until the end of the 2012 season in a tough season that saw Bettencourt make 14 cuts in 32 appearances.
