''Mia Nihta Zoriki'' (Greek: ''Μια νύχτα ζόρικη''; English: ''One tough night'') is an album by popular Greek Laïka singer Paschalis Terzis released on November 3, 2008 by Minos EMI. The album is the follow-up to his 2007 platinum album ''I Diafora'' and is composed entirely by Giorgos Theofanous. It was certified gold on its first day of release and debuted on the Greek Albums Chart at number two. Paschalis Terzis ( el, Πασχάλης Τερζής; born 24 April 1949) is a popular Greek singer. Biography Terzis was born in Pylaia, a suburb of Thessaloniki. In his early teens, he began to sing with friends, some of whom helped him in his career. After moving to Athens, he began performing as a back-up vocalist in popular music centres, with famous Greek singers of the 1960s, including Tzeni Vanou. Since the 1980s, Terzis has recorded several albums, several of which remain popular to the present day. Even now, he is a very popular singer, making new albums, performing on famous music scenes of Athens and Thessaloniki, and appearing on talk shows. In the winter period 2006–2007, Paschalis Terzis had a music program with Elena Paparizou and Nino Ksipolitas at Iera Odos. ''The X Factor'' is the Greek version of ''The X Factor'', a show originating in the United Kingdom. It is a television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions. Auditions are held in Greece in the cities of Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as in Cyprus in the city of Nicosia. Auditions for the third X Factor were also held in New York City. Applicants from the Greek diaspora are also accepted. The show was broadcast live in Greece and Cyprus, as well as abroad via ANT1's international stations, for the first three seasons. Elena Paparizou
Helena Paparizou (; , ; born 31 January 1962) is a Swedish-born Greek singer, songwriter and television personality. Born and raised in Sweden to Greek parents, she enrolled in various arts schools before launching a career in Sweden in 1999 as a member of the laïko (Greek folk music) and Eurodance duo Antique, who participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 and afterwards became popular. Antique disbanded in 2003, and Paparizou signed a solo recording contract with Sony Music, releasing the chart-topping debut single "Anapandites Kliseis" and album ''Protereotita'' (2004), with emphasis on laïko, pop, and dance sounds, but at first had modest sales.
