Mezhyhirya Monastery

The Kyiv Cistern ( uk, Київське водосховище, translit=Kyyivs’ke vodoskhovyshche), locally the Kyiv Sea, is a large Reservoir (water), water reservoir located on the Dnieper River in Ukraine. Named after the city of Kyiv, which lies to the south, it covers an area of within the Kyiv Oblast. Cape Aya (Ukrainian: Мис Айя, Russian: Мыс Айя, Crimean Tatar: Ayya) is a rocky promontory jutting out into the Black Sea southeast of Balaklava. This 13-km-long offspur of the Crimean Mountains separates Laspi Bay (to the east) from Balaklava Bay (to the west). The name of the cape derives from “holy one" in Greek, “Άγια”. It has the second largest geographic reach of any channel in Ukraine, covering 95% of Ukraine's territory.
