Mezhova
Mezhova ( uk, Межова; russian: Межевая) is a rural settlement in Synelnykove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Mezhova settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: History Until 18 July 2020, Mezhova was the administrative center of Mezhova Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast to seven. The area of Mezhova Raion was merged into Synelnykove Raion. Until 26 January 2024, Mezhova was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Mezhova became a rural settlement. Economy Transportation Mezhova is on the road which connects Pokrovsk with Vasylkivka. Synelnykove Raion ( uk, Синельниківський район) is a raion (district) of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, southeastern-central Ukraine. Its administrative centre is located at Synelnykove. Population: . Vasylkivka ( uk, Васильківка; russian: Васильковка) is an urban-type settlement in Synelnykove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. Chaplyne ( uk, Чаплине, ; russian: Чаплино) is a rural settlement in Synelnykove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. It belongs to Dubovyky rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Its latest estimated population was History The name of the village comes from the small river Chaplyna, which flows near it. It was founded at the end of the 19th century during the construction of the Catherine railway (1882–1884), which connected the Donetsk coal and Kryvorizka iron ore basins. It was a part of Oleksandrivsky District of Katerynoslav Province. After the commissioning of the Chapline-Berdyansk railway branch in 1898, the station turned into a railway hub. Synelnykove
Synelnykove (, ; , ) is a city and municipality in Synelnykove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine, the largest city in the south-eastern part of the region. It serves as the administrative center of the raion. It is named after the Russian governor Ivan Sinelnikov. Highway M04 (Ukraine)
Highway M04 was a Ukraine international highway connecting Znamianka to Krasnodon on the border with Russia, where it continued into Russia as the A260. In Soviet times the M04 was part of the M21. The highway stretched through four oblasts and ended at the Izvaryne-Donetsk border checkpoint which is part of Krasnodon city (Luhansk Oblast). The section from Znamianka to Debaltseve was part of European route E50, and the section from Debaltseve to the Russian border was part of European route E40. On 28 April 2021, the M04 was decommissioned and merged with the M12 to form the new M30.
