Mexer
Edson André Sitoe (born 8 September 1988), known as Mexer, is a Mozambican professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for TFF First League club Bandırmaspor and the Mozambique national team. Brought to Europe by Sporting CP in 2010, he played over 100 Primeira Liga games for Olhanense, Nacional and Estoril. He also spent several years in the French Ligue 1, making 164 appearances for Rennes and Bordeaux and winning the Coupe de France with the former in 2019. A full international for Mozambique with over 50 caps since 2007, Mexer represented the country at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. Zainadine Abdula Chavango Júnior (born 24 June 1988) is a Mozambican professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Portuguese club Marítimo. He spent most of his career in Portugal with rivals Nacional and Marítimo, making over 250 Primeira Liga appearances. A full international with over 60 caps for Mozambique since 2008, he represented the country at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. The Liga Intercalar or Reserves Championship was a competition that served mainly to rotate less used players, juniors and players returning from injury. The first edition (2007–2008) was organized by the Football Association of Porto, monitored by the LPFP and Portuguese Football Federation, and was played between clubs from the AF Porto and the AF Braga. By the second edition, the competition was played on a national level, participating clubs from the North and South Zones, which included the Big Three in Portuguese football: Benfica, Porto and Sporting. Due to scheduling conflicts between the AF Lisbon and the AF Porto, the competition was split into two leagues in 2010–2011 and altogether abolished by the end of that season.
