Mettupatti Mirasu
''Mettupatti Mirasu'' () is a 1994 Tamil-language drama film directed by Anu Mohan. The film stars Sivakumar, Arjun Sarja, Raadhika and Suman Ranganathan, with Goundamani, Senthil, S. S. Chandran, Sangeeta and Sathyapriya playing supporting roles. The film, produced by Bharathi Appusamy, had musical score by M. S. Sriraj and was released on 15 July 1994. Plot Pazhanisamy, also known as Mettupatti Mirasu, is a rich and respected village elder, he is married to the arrogant Deivanai. They have a son, Siva, and a niece, Radha. Siva is going to marry the village belle Meenakshi, who is from another village. The day of the wedding, the bus in which Meenakshi and her family are travelling is stopped by thieves. Anu Mohan (Tamil Actor)
Anu Mohan (born as David Stanley, on 3 December 1957) is an Indian actor and director who has worked in Tamil language films. Beginning his career as a director, Anu Mohan has gone on to play secondary comedy roles in films, notably portraying a character in ''Padayappa'' (1999). Career Anu Mohan completed his mechanical engineering and started his career in the late 1980s, making two feature films '' Idhu Oru Thodar Kathai'' (1987) and ''Ninaivu Chinnam'' (1989). He appeared in acting roles in the 1990s and notably portrayed a comedy role in K. S. Ravikumar's ''Padayappa'' (1999), which garnered him further offers during the period. Vichu Viswanath
Vichu Vishwanath is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films and serials. He has worked in comedy and supporting roles, often associating with director Sundar C. Career Vichu Vishwanath was born in Coimbatore, India and attended RK Sreerangammal Kalvi Nilayam Higher Secondary School in the city. Vichu is married to Hemalatha, and has a daughter, Kokila. He made his acting debut in the film, ''Sandhana Kaatru'' (1990) and portrayed a villainous character alongside Sarathkumar and Vijay Krishnaraj. ''The Indian Express'' is an English-language Indian daily newspaper founded in 1932. It is published in Mumbai by the Indian Express Group. In 1999, eight years after the group's founder Ramnath Goenka's death in 1991, the group was split between the family members. ''The New Indian Express'' is an Indian English-language broadsheet daily newspaper published by the Chennai-based Express Publications. It was founded in 1932 as ''The Indian Express'', under the ownership of Chennai-based P. Varadarajulu Naidu. Piraisoodan (6 February 1956 – 8 October 2021) was a Tamil poet and lyricist. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Lyricist for his songs in movies like ''Thayagam'', '' En Rasavin Manasile'' and ''Neeyum Naanum'' in 1996, 1991 and 2010 respectively. Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film ''Kudiyirundha Koyil'' in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health. Biography Pulamaipithan was born in Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on 6 October 1935. Mangala Sutra
A mangala sutra (), or thaali (ISO: ''tāḷi''), is a necklace that the groom ties around the bride's neck in the Indian subcontinent, in a ceremony called ''Mangalya Dharanam'' (). The necklace serves as a visual marker of status as a married Hindu woman.
