Metin Feyzioğlu
Metin Feyzioğlu (born 7 July 1969) is a Turkish lawyer and a professor of criminal law who served as the 8th President of the Turkish Bars Association between May 2013 and December 2021. He is the grandson of Turhan Feyzioğlu, a former CHP politician and Deputy Prime Minister. Early life and career Metin Feyzioğlu was born on 7 July 1969 in Kadıköy, Istanbul. He was raised by his grandparents Turhan Feyzioğlu and his wife Leyla Feyzioğlu, graduating from TED Ankara College in 1986. In 1990, he graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law. In 1992, he received a master's degree in public law and received a Ph.D in the same field in 1995. Nationalist Movement Party
The Nationalist Movement Party (alternatively translated as Nationalist Action Party; tr, Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi, MHP) is a Turkish far-right and ultranationalist political party. The group is often described as neo-fascist, and has been linked to some violent paramilitaries and organized crime groups. Ekmeleddin Mehmet İhsanoğlu (; born 26 December 1943) is a Turkish academic, diplomat and politician who was Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) from 2004 to 2014. 2014 Turkish Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Turkey on 10 August 2014 in order to elect the 12th President. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was elected outright with an absolute majority of the vote in the first round, making a scheduled run-off for 24 August unnecessary. The election took place under reforms resulting from the 2007 constitutional referendum, which introduced a direct national vote, rather than election by members of the parliament. Abdullah Gül (; ; born 29 October 1950) is a Turkish politician who served as the 11th President of Turkey, in office from 2007 to 2014. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu (born Kemal Karabulut, 17 December 1948) is a Turkish economist, retired civil servant and social democratic politician.
