Tarkan (singer)
Tarkan Tevetoğlu (; born 17 October 1972) is a Turkish singer-songwriter. Since the early 1990s, with the successful sales of his albums, he has been a prominent figure of pop music, recognized in Turkey and worldwide. Tarkan was born and raised in Alzey, Rhineland-Palatinate. In 1986, he moved to Turkey together with his family. Tarkan, who had been interested in music since his childhood, went to high school at Karamürsel and took music lessons. In the following years, he met the owner of İstanbul Plak, Mehmet Söğütoğlu, and signed a contract to release his own album. Tarkan released his first album '' Yine Sensiz'' in late 1992 with "Kıl Oldum" being chosen as its lead single. His second and third albums, ''Aacayipsin'' and ''Ölürüm Sana'', were released in 1994 and 1998 respectively. The song "Şımarık" from ''Ölürüm Sana'' became popular in a number of countries. Ozan Çolakoğlu
Ozan Çolakoğlu (, born 1 April 1972) is a Turkish composer, songwriter and music producer; famous for his work with various Turkish pop singers and his multiple film scores. He co-founded the production company ''Sarı Ev'' (Yellow House), but left it in 2010 to work for ''dB Müzik''. Life and career Ozan Çolakoğlu was born in Adana, Turkey in 1972. He attended the Berklee College of Music and his career started with Tarkan's first album called ''Yine Sensiz''. Besides working continuously with the Turkish pop idol, he also contributed to the albums of such notable artists like Nil Karaibrahimgil, Murat Boz or the well known all-female Turkish rock band, Pin-up. In the music world he is also known for his remixes under the name ''Ozinga''. He arranged " Every Way That I Can", the song Sertab Erener won the Eurovision contest with. ''Come Closer'' is the debut English language album by Turkish pop singer Tarkan. Album was published in Europe, Asia, Japan, North America, South America, Australia. It was released by Universal Records on April 7, 2006 in Europe and Central Asia. Tarkan began recording the album in 1997, following the success of his third Turkish release '' Ölürüm Sana'' that year. Referring to the album's title, Tarkan said: In August 2005, a number of songs recorded for the album were leaked onto the internet by a Turkish DJ. The leaked songs garnered considerable airplay in dance clubs in Turkey, before Tarkan's management took legal action against the DJs playing the songs. Sezen Aksu (; born Fatma Sezen Yıldırım; 13 July 1954) is a Turkish pop music singer, songwriter and producer who has sold over 40 million albums worldwide.
