Mesta AS is a Norwegian government enterprise delivering services within construction and civil engineering of roads. The company is owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry and has its headquarters at Lysaker outside Oslo. Marianne Bergmann Røren is the Chief Executive Officer of Mesta AS. Lysaker is an area in Bærum Municipality, Viken County, Norway. Lysaker is the easternmost part of Bærum and borders Oslo proper. A demerger is a form of corporate restructuring in which the entity's business operations are segregated into one or more components. It is the converse of a merger or acquisition. A demerger can take place through a spin-off by distributed or transferring the shares in a subsidiary holding the business to company shareholders carrying out the demerger.
