Mesa Public Schools (incorporated as Mesa Unified School District #4) is the largest public school district in the state of Arizona. Its approximately 64,000 students enjoy opportunities such as Montessori, International Baccalaureate, dual-language immersion, honors and Advanced Placement courses and Franklin traditional schools. MPS serves most of the city of Mesa, plus small portions of Tempe and Chandler. The district has 82 schools, which includes 55 elementary schools, 9 junior high schools, six comprehensive high schools, and several alternative schools. Mesa Distance Learning Program
Mesa Distance Learning Program (MDLP) is a distance learning program for grades 5–12 sponsored by Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, Arizona, US that offers students worldwide a US-based education leading to a high school diploma. Tuition is free for students studying in Arizona who have also passed Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards exam to obtain that benefit. Those enrolling from outside Arizona must pay USD 225 per course. The Mesa Distance Learning Program is also used by other Arizona school districts. The program initially catered to students in Arizona who could not attend a local high school. Tempe Union High School District
The Tempe Union High School District is a school district of high schools in Tempe, Arizona, USA. Its service area includes all of Tempe, the city of Chandler, Arizona west of the Loop 101, Guadalupe, the Gila River Indian Community in Maricopa County, and the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix (the same areas served by the Tempe Elementary School District and the Kyrene School District, both of which feed into Tempe Union).
