Merchas Doski
Merchas Ghazi Salih Doski (born 7 December 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Slovácko. Born in Germany, he represents the Iraq national team. Club career Born in Hanover, Doski grew up in the district of Vahrenheide. He played youth football with Arminia Hannover and Germania Egestorf/Langreder. Having established himself at Landesliga club Heeßeler SV he earned a move to MTV Eintracht Celle of the fifth-tier Oberliga. In July 2020, after trialling at the club, Doski signed with Austrian side Wacker Innsbruck. He scored his first goal for the club's first team in November, in a 3–2 win against SV Horn in the Austrian 2. Liga. He agreed a new contract until 2023 with Wacker Innsbruck in December. His first-team game time was limited but he played in a friendly against Liverpool in the summer of 2021. Kurdistan Region ( ku, هەرێمی کوردستان, translit=Herêmî Kurdistan; ar, إقليم كردستان), abbr. KRI, is an autonomous region in Iraq comprising the four Kurdish-majority governorates of Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Duhok, and Halabja, and bordering Iran, Syria, and Turkey. Zakho
Zakho, also spelled Zaxo ( ku, زاخۆ, Zaxo, syr, ܙܵܟ݂ܘܿ, Zākhō, , ) is a city in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, at the centre of the eponymous Zakho District of the Dohuk Governorate, located a few kilometers from the Iraq–Turkey border. The population of the town rose from about 30,000 in 1950 to 350,000 to 1992 due to Kurds fleeing other areas of the country. The original settlement may have been on a small island in the Little Khabur river, which flows through the modern city. The Khabur flows west from Zakho to form the border between Iraq and Turkey, continuing into the Tigris. The most important rivers in the area are the Zeriza, Seerkotik and the aforementioned Little Khabur.
