Meore Liga
Liga 3, organized by Georgian Football Federation since 1990, is the third division of professional football in Georgia. Until 2017, when the current name was introduced, it was known as Meore Liga (the Second league). Structure and league system There were 20 teams competing in the league in 2017. In 2019, when Liga 4 was formed, their number was reduced to ten, although after two seasons GFF decided to extend the league to 14 at the expense of two bottom teams from the previous season and two second-placed clubs from Liga 4 While and Red Groups. For 2022 the number of clubs was increased to 16. Seasons run based on Spring-Autumn system with each team playing an equal amount of home and away games against their league rivals. FC Aragvi
FC Aragvi Dusheti, or simply Aragvi Dusheti ( ka, სკ დუშეთის არაგვი) is a Georgian association football club from Dusheti, currently based in Tbilisi. Following the 2023 season, the team won Liga 3 and advanced to Erovnuli Liga 2, the second tier of Georgian football. History Established in 1954, during the Soviet period Aragvi mainly participated in the East group of Georgian republican league 2. In the 2008–09 season, the team played in the Meore Liga. Shiola Shiolashvili led the team to first place in the third tier. In 2009–10 season the team had the opportunity to participate in the Pirveli Liga next year, but some financial problems made this goal unachievable. Guria Lanchkhuti
FC Guria is a Georgian association football club from Lanchkhuti, which competes in Liga 3, the third tier of the national league. Being one of the strongest Georgian teams in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Guria have taken part in the Soviet Top league, also won the national Cup and played fifteen seasons in Umaglesi Liga, twice claiming silver medals. FC Merani Tbilisi is a Georgian football club based in Tbilisi. They play in the Erovnuli Liga 2, the second division in Georgian football. They play their home games at Sinatle Stadium. FC Locomotive Tbilisi
FC Locomotive Tbilisi is a Georgian football club from the capital, Tbilisi. During the existence of the USSR the club was a part of the Lokomotiv Voluntary Sports Society. The club has strong connections with the Georgian Railways. History Locomotive was founded on 14 August 1936 as a part of Lokomotiv sports society. The club won Georgian championship in 1937, which gave them the permission to participate in USSR Top League. Their debut season in the highest level of the Soviet football championship came in 1938, where the club took 24th place out of 26 and got relegated. FC Shevardeni-1906 Tbilisi is one of the oldest Georgian association football clubs. They play in the Liga 3, the third tier of Georgian football from 2023.
