Menart Records is a Slovenian full-service record label with partner companies also in Croatia and Serbia. History Menart Records started in 1996 in Slovenia only, founded by Boštjan Menart. Activities Menart Records is the exclusive Sony Music license for the territories of Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania. As a domestic label, Menart has grown in Slovenia to the leading company in popular music – dominating sales and airplay charts with acts as Atomik Harmonik, Dan D, Siddharta, Tabu, Jan Plestenjak, Magnifico, Alya, Saša Lendero, Turbo Angels, Niet, Rebeka Dremelj and Kingston. Ljubljana
Ljubljana (also known by other historical names) is the capital and largest city of Slovenia. It is the country's cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative center. During antiquity, a Roman city called Emona stood in the area. Ljubljana itself was first mentioned in the first half of the 12th century. Rebeka Dremelj (born 25 July 1980) is a Slovene singer, model, fashion designer, actress, and TV host. She was chosen to represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia, with the song " Vrag naj vzame". Professional and personal life Rebeka Dremelj was born in Brežice, SR Slovenia, Yugoslavia. She became a singer and was selected as Miss Slovenia 2001. Gustafi are a Croatian folk rock band formed in Vodnjan, a small town in Istria, in 1980. The band was founded by Edi Maružin, Vlado Maružin, Čedomir Mošnja, Igor Arih and Livio Morosin and was originally called ''Gustaph y njegovi dobri duhovi''. They released their first album titled ''V'' in 1985. The band is known for their eclectic style which combines Istrian folk music and rock, along with blues and Tex-Mex influences. Pips, Chips & Videoclips are a Croatian rock band from the capital Zagreb. They formed in the early 1990s and have released seven studio albums and a number of singles. The band first came to prominence in 1992 when they recorded ''Dinamo ja volim'', a rock song which instantly became an unofficial anthem of GNK Dinamo Zagreb football club supporters Bad Blue Boys. Matija Cvek (born 9 March 1993) is a Croatian singer and songwriter. He rose to fame by participating in HRT's show ''A strana''. He first gained public attention in 2018 when he released his song "Visine". Cvek's first studio album, ''Izbirljivo i slučajno'' (2021), debuted atop the Croatian Albums Chart. Luka Nižetić (born 12 August 1983) is a Croatian singer. His debut album '' Premijera'' was recorded in 2006. He is best known for his hits "Ponekad poželim" ("Sometimes I wish") and "Proljeće" ("Springtime"). Biography Luka Nižetić was born in Split, Croatia, as the second child of Tamara and Milo Nižetić. Together with his sister Petra, he grew up in Mertojak, part of Split. His parents noticed Luka's great interest in music at a young age. Consequently, they sent him to nuns for his early music education. A nun, called Cecilia, taught Luka to play the piano. Goran Karan
Goran Karan (born 2 April 1964) is a Croatian vocalist. He specializes in songs influenced by Dalmatian folk music and is known for his powerful and refined tenor voice. Karan's collaboration with composer Zdenko Runjić led to some of his most acclaimed work, which won him several awards. Biography Karan was the lead singer of Croatian rock group Big Blue, before becoming a solo artist in 1997.
