Founded by Lars Jönsson in 1989, Memfis is one of few comparatively new production units that has shown staying power and played a continuous role in the Swedish film community. Per Fly Plejdrup (born 14 January 1960) is a Danish film director, generally credited simply as Per Fly. He has made many films and television shows broadcast on Danish television. Per Fly's awards includes the Crown Prince Couple's Culture Prize in 2005. Biography Fly graduated from The National Film School of Denmark in 1993. He debuted in 2000 with the feature film ''Bænken'' (''The Bench''), which told the story of Kaj, a man whose life has led him into serious alcoholism. This film was the first part of what would become the Denmark trilogy, which portrayed situations and characters from the lower, upper and middle classes in Denmark, in that order. Colin Nutley
Colin James Nutley (born 28 February 1944) is an English director successful in the Swedish film industry. Career Nutley went to Portsmouth Art College and began his career in British television as a graphic designer. He then turned to drama and documentary film-making for ITV, BBC and Channel 4. Björn Runge
Björn Lennart Runge is a Swedish director and author. He was nominated for The Nordic Council Film Prize in 2006 for ''Mun mot mun''. Runge was born in Lysekil. He has worked in film since he was 20 and with Roy Andersson, amongst others. He graduated from the Dramatiska Institutet in Stockholm in 1989. In 1991, he worked on the prizewinning short film ''Greger Olsson köper en bil'', and in 2004, he won a Guldbagge Award for the best directing and script for the film ''Om jag vänder mig om''. Ulf Peter Vilhelm Malmros (born 16 March 1965) is a Swedish screenwriter and film director. Career At age of 13 Malmros started making home movies.
