Mell (stylized as MELL) is a female Japanese singer from Sapporo, Japan, who is signed to Geneon Universal Entertainment. She is a former member of the Sapporo-based I've Sound, and one of its main vocalists. Mell has contributed vocals to several anime soundtracks including '' Black Lagoon'', '' Hayate the Combat Butler'', '' Rideback'', ''Shakugan no Shana'', and '' Sky Girls''. After battling an unknown illness over a prolonged period, Mell left I've Sound after the release of her compilation album ''Entrust: The Name of Mell'' on March 20, 2013. Sapporo
( ain, サッ・ポロ・ペッ, Satporopet, lit=Dry, Great River) is a city in Japan. It is the largest city north of Tokyo and the largest city on Hokkaido, the northernmost main island of the country. is a maxi single released by the J-pop singer, Mell. This was scheduled to be released on July 29, 2009. This single has also been contained in the ''I've Sound 10th Anniversary 「Departed to the future」 Special CD BOX'' which was released on March 25, 2009. The coupling song ''Utsukushiku Ikitai: I've in Budokan 2009 Live Ver.'' is the live version of her first visual novel theme song with I've Sound that she performed in their concert in Budokan last January 2, 2009. Kill (Mell Song)
KILL is the 4th single of I've Sound singer, Mell. It is released on November 19, 2008, a year and almost two months after the release of her 3rd single. The title track will be used as the opening theme for Mamoru Oshii is a Japanese filmmaker, television director and writer. Famous for his philosophy-oriented storytelling, Oshii has directed a number of acclaimed anime films, including ''Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer'' (1984), ''Angel's Egg'' (1985), ...'s live-action film entitled while the B-side song On my own will be used as the ending theme for the same film. Since this single only reached #37 in the Oricon weekly charts and only charted for two weeks, this is Mell's weakest single to date. ''Mirage'' is the second studio album from the I've Sound singer, Mell, released on October 27, 2010. The album contains eight new songs, one old song from an album released on Comic Market away back 2002, Infection Which was used in an episode of the hit anime series Highschool of the Dead, and a remix of her famous song Red Fraction which was used as an opening theme for the OVA of the anime series Black Lagoon. This album will contain her three singles Proof/No Vain, Kill and Rideback. The album will come in a limited CD+DVD edition (GNCV-1023) and a regular CD-only edition (GNCV-1024).
