The Melaka Gallery ( id, Galeri Melaka) is a gallery about Malacca in Jakarta, Indonesia. History The gallery was established by renovating an old building at Malaka Street. The street location was chosen due to its name resemblance. It was constructed with the cooperation with West Jakarta government. It was officiated by Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo and Malacca Chief Minister Mohd Ali Rustam on 22 February 2013. Taman Sari, Jakarta
Taman Sari is a district of West Jakarta, Indonesia. It is the smallest subdistrict of West Jakarta (4.37 km2). It is bounded by Central Jakarta to the south and to the east, and by Pademangan in North Jakarta to the north. Taman Sari district contains the southeastern area of Jakarta Old Town, the area on the east side of Kali Besar Canal. The Old Town formed Batavia (the old name for Jakarta) during the 17th century. Malacca
Malacca ( ms, Melaka) is a state in Malaysia located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Strait of Malacca. Kota Post Office
The Kota Post Office ( id, Kantor Pos Kota) is a historic building in Kota, Jakarta, Indonesia; operated by Pos Indonesia. It was designed by Ir. R. Baumgartner in 1929 as the ''Post- en telegraaf kantoor''. The building is one of the buildings in Fatahillah Square. The building was designed in an early modern style known as Nieuwe Zakelijkheid which was popular in the Netherlands and became popular in the Dutch East Indies by the end of 1920s. The style was slightly conformed to the tropical climate of Indonesia with the addition of 'double facade' concept, a typical element of tropical Indische architecture.
