Mel Sta. Maria
Melencio Santos Sta. Maria Jr. (; born February 23, 1957) is a Filipino lawyer, law professor, and television & radio presenter. He has been the dean of Far Eastern University's law school since 2013. He has also been teaching at his alma mater, the Ateneo School of Law, since 1986. In television and radio, he is affiliated with TV5, notably as a legal correspondent for ''Relasyon'' and '' Solved na Solved''. Education and career He graduated in BS Biology from Ateneo de Manila University in 1978, and four years later he obtained his Bachelor of Laws with Honors at the same school same as classmate Ray Espinosa (current director at MVP group and 1982 bar topnotcher). The Far Eastern University – Institute of Law, also known as FEU Law or IL, is the Legal Education Board-accredited law school of the Far Eastern University. It is one of the four earliest institutes that comprised the university in 1934. FEU Law has produced many well-regarded graduates, next to the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, Philippine Law School, and the University of Manila. Philippine Bar Examination
The Philippine Bar Examination is the professional licensure examination for lawyers in the Philippines. The exam is exclusively administered by the Supreme Court of the Philippines through the Supreme Court Bar Examination Committee. Brief history The first Philippine Bar Exams was conducted in 1901 with only 13 examinees. The third Philippine Bar Exam took place in 1903 but the results were released in 1905. José I. Quintos obtained the highest rating of 96.33%, Sergio Osmeña, Sr. was second with 95.66%, F. Salas was third with 94.5% and Manuel L. Quezon fourth with 87.83%. The first bar exam in 1901 has only 13 examinees, while the 2008 bar examination is the 107th (given per Article 8, Section 5, 1987 Constitution). ''Tropa Mo Ko Unli Spoof'' (formerly known as Tropa Mo Ko Unli and Tropa Mo Ko Nice di ba?) is a weekly gag show produced by the TV5 Entertainment Group and it is aired every Saturday at 7:00pm ( PST) on TV5. Its format similar to ''Tropang Trumpo'' which has been aired from 1994 to 1999. The title is a merger between ''Tropang Trumpo'' and ''Lokomoko U'', resulting in Ogie Alcasid's return/arrival to TV5. Launched on September 14, 2013, replacing ''Lokomoko'', Tropa Mo Ko Unli is one of the 8 newly launched weekend programs under the "Weekend Do It Better" block of the network.
