Mel Bampton
Melissa "Mel" Bampton is an Australian radio announcer, best known for her work on the Triple J network. She began at the station in 2000 as producer of the ''Drive'' show - with Costa Zouliou, Myf Warhurst, Nicole Fossati and Charlie Pickering at various times. In mid-2002, Fossati left the station, and Bampton took her place as co-host. Career In 2004 the station's programming underwent major changes, and Bampton started hosting her own music show ''Mel in the Mornings''. The show replaced the previous ''Morning Show'', which was heavily current affairs and talkback, with a more music oriented show, including interviews and live performances. Mel was the creator of the Like a Version segment of bands playing cover songs, which has spawned nine CDs and continues on the triple j breakfast program to this day. Triple J
Triple J (stylised in all lowercase) is a government-funded, national Australian Radio in Australia, radio station intended to appeal to listeners of alternative music, which began broadcasting in January 1975. The station also places a greater emphasis on broadcasting music of Australia, Australian content compared to commercial stations. Triple J is a division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Alan Moulder
Alan Moulder (born 11 June 1959) is an English record producer, mixing engineer, and audio engineer. Early life Moulder was born on 11 June 1959 in Boston, Lincolnshire. He was educated at Boston Grammar School. He had an interest in music from an early age, listing Cream and The Beatles among his favourite artists. The first album he bought was ''Electric Warrior'' by T. Rex, and he was impressed by the quality of the recording. He joined his first band as a teenager and recorded a demo in a local studio; it was there that he realised that it had been the production that he had so enjoyed on ''Electric Warrior'', and discovered that he was more interested in music engineering than performing. Dune Rats
Dune Rats are an Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland. Originally, the band formed as a duo, with Danny Beus on guitar and lead vocals and BC Michael Marks on drums and backing vocals. The band later became a three-piece, with Brett Jansch (formerly a touring member of Bleeding Knees Club) joining as bassist. Brad Heald, originally from Red Riders and The Vines, also made touring appearances on bass from 2011 to 2012. On 30 May 2014, the band released their self-titled debut album through their label Ratbag Records. They supported the release with a global and national tour. Ash Grunwald (born Ashley Mark Groenewald, 5 September 1976) is an Australian blues musician. He has released nine studio albums and has received five nominations for ARIA Music Awards. Soundwave was an annual music festival held in major cities around Australia, run and promoted by Soundwave Touring. Thomas Wesley Pentz (born November 10, 1978), known professionally as Diplo, is an American DJ and music producer. He is the co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer, a member of the supergroup LSD with Sia and Labrinth, a member of electronic duo Jack Ü with producer and DJ Skrillex, and a member of Silk City with Mark Ronson. Scott Horscroft (born 27 October 1977) is an Australian music producer/sound engineer, the owner of The Grove Studios and the former General Manager of A&R for EMI Music Australia.
