Scott Horscroft
Scott Horscroft (born 27 October 1977) is an Australian music producer/sound engineer, the owner of The Grove Studios and the former General Manager of A&R for EMI Music Australia. Career In 1999 Horscroft completed a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts with Honours, studying Sculpture Installation and Performance Art and Electronic Arts, at Sydney College of the Arts. In 2003, Horscroft released the experimental début album, ''8 Guitars''. As a producer and engineer, Horscroft started out in the Surry Hills-based studio Big Jesus Burger (BJB) from 2003 to 2012. Joining EMI Music Australia in 2011 as Vice President of A&R, and then General Manager of A&R from 2013. In 2013 he acquired The Grove Studios on the NSW Central Coast. ''Birds of Tokyo'' is the third album by Australian alternative rock band Birds of Tokyo, released on 23 July 2010 through EMI Records. It was recorded in Sydney, Australia; New York City; London; and Gothenburg, Sweden, produced by Scott Horscroft, co-produced by Adam Spark and mixed by Michael Brauer. This is the last album to feature Anthony Jackson on bass guitar before his departure in March 2011. At the J Awards of 2010, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. Oh Mercy were an Australian indie rock band formed by Alexander Gow. The band released five studio albums, '' Privileged Woes'' (2009), '' Great Barrier Grief'' (2011), '' Deep Heat'' (2012), '' When We Talk About Love'' (2015) and ''Café Oblivion'' (2018). ''Falling & Flying'' is the second studio album by Australian hip hop artist 360. The album was released on 30 September 2011 on Soulmate Records. Writing and development For 360's second studio album, he worked with producers such as M-Phazes, the 2010 winner for 'Best Hip Hop Release', and Styalz Feugo. In an interview with 'All Aussie Hip Hop', he stated: "I think when I write personal and honest music that's when I shine, and that's the angle I've taken with this new album. It's all real." Birds of Tokyo are an Australian alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia. The album was released by record label Modular on 12 April 2008 in Australia, on 13 May in the United States, and 2 June in the United Kingdom.
