Meir Masri
Meir Masri (Hebrew: מאיר מסרי, born 23 April 1984) is an Israeli author, professor and scholar of political science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an expert in international relations who lives in Jerusalem and Paris. He graduated from the Institut d'études politiques de Toulouse, Institute of Political Studies of Toulouse (known in French as Sciences Po Toulouse) and earned his doctorate in geopolitics from the Centre of Geopolitical Analysis and Research (known in French as the Centre de recherches et d'analyses géopolitiques) at the University of Paris VIII in March 2015. Masri is the author of numerous books in French and articles published in Israeli newspapers. A scholar is a person who pursues academic and intellectual activities, particularly academics who apply their intellectualism into expertise in an area of study. RT (formerly Russia Today or Rossiya Segodnya (russian: Россия Сегодня) is a Russian state-controlled international news television network funded by the Russian government. It operates pay television and free-to-air channels directed to audiences outside of Russia, as well as providing Internet content in Russian, English, Spanish, French, German and Arabic. Rudaw Media Network (, or ), is a media group in Kurdistan Region, Iraq. It publishes in Sorani, Kurmanji, English, Arabic and Turkish. Rudaw Media Network also owns a weekly newspaper in the Sorani dialect with a circulation of 3,000, a Kurmanji version published in Europe, a website in Kurdish, English, Arabic and Turkish and a satellite TV station. Orient News (in Arabic تلفزيون أورينت) is a Syrian media group owned by Syrian businessman, journalist and opposition figure Ghassan Aboud, based in Dubai, providing news service to the Middle East with a focus on Syria. History Orient Media Network started with Orient News TV. After a study, it was evident that there were no specialized satellite channels specified for the Syrian viewer. Private non-Syrian channels typically used dialects of Arabic not used in Syrian society, which varies socially and culturally. The owner of the group, Ghassan Aboud launched media projects for television, film and radio production, which were eventually broadcast in several countries: Orient Vision for educational broadcasts, the Orient Net website and Orient radio.
