"Mein Land" (German language, German for "My country") is a song by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. It was released as a single from their greatest hits album, ''Made in Germany 1995–2011'', on 11 November 2011 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and internationally on 14 November. The cover art is based on The Beach Boys' ''Surfer Girl'' album cover. Music video The music video for "Mein Land" was filmed on 23 May 2011 at Sycamore Cove State Beach in Malibu, California. It was directed by Jonas Åkerlund and depicts band members in casual 1960s beach attire. It shows them having a party while words in Beach Boys-type font describe the beach party. Near the end of the video, it cuts to 2012 and shows the band performing at the same beach, but dressed up industrially with flames shooting from various things around the stage. The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz—has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand. Mogwai () are a Scottish post-rock band, formed in 1995 in Glasgow. The band consists of Stuart Braithwaite (guitar, vocals), Barry Burns (guitar, piano, synthesizer, vocals), Dominic Aitchison (bass guitar), and Martin Bulloch (drums). The BossHoss
The BossHoss is a German band from Berlin, founded in 2004. They originally started with country and western style cover versions of famous pop, rock and hip hop songs, for example "Hot in Herre" by Nelly, "Toxic" by Britney Spears and "Hey Ya!" by Outkast. They incorporate stereotypical American cowboy behavior into their act; they wear Stetson hats, tank tops and large sunglasses, and display whiskey bottles. Brandon Bruce Lee (February 1, 1965 – March 31, 1993) was an American actor and martial artist. A beach is a landform alongside a body of water which consists of loose particles. The particles composing a beach are typically made from rock, such as sand, gravel, shingle, pebbles, etc., or biological sources, such as mollusc shells or coralline algae.
