Megan Belt
Megan Sarah Belt (born 6 October 1997) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Kent. She plays as a right-arm off break bowler. She previously played for South East Stars and Oval Invincibles. Early life Belt was born on 6 October 1997 in Margate, Kent. She attends Canterbury Christ Church University, as well as working as a PE teacher. Domestic career Belt made her county debut in 2013, for Kent against Berkshire. She was part of the Kent team that won the County Championship in 2014, the Twenty20 Cup and County Championship double in 2016 and the County Championship again in 2019. She was the leading wicket-taker in the 2013 Women's Twenty20 Cup, and the second-leading wicket-taker in the 2016 County Championship. She also achieved her maiden county five-wicket haul in the 2016 Championship, taking 5/8 against Yorkshire. Margate
Margate is a seaside resort, seaside town on the north coast of Kent in south-east England. 2016 Women's County Championship
The 2016 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 20th cricket Women's County Championship season. The Championship was won by Kent who recorded their seventh championship, setting a new record for the number of championships won. The runners-up were Sussex. This was the last season in which Division 4 was contested. Following a reorganisation of the structure of the tournament, all the teams in Division 4 were promoted to an expanded Division 3 in 2017. The 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the first edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket domestic competition, which took place between 29 August and 27 September 2020. It featured eight teams in two groups, and had a final. The tournament was named after former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Baroness Heyhoe-Flint, who died in 2017. The competition was won by Southern Vipers, who beat Northern Diamonds in the final. The 2022 Women's Twenty20 Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2022 Vitality Women's County T20, was the 13th edition of the Women's Twenty20 Cup, an English women's cricket Twenty20 domestic competition. It took place in April and May 2022, with 35 teams taking part, organised into eight regional groups. The Women's London Championship (WLC) is an English women's cricket competition. It was created in 2020 following the introduction of the regional Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy as the highest domestic competition in women's One Day cricket. The competition features the women's county cricket teams from the Home Counties. History Originally the Women's County Championship was the highest 50 over competition in English women's cricket. However, the tournament ended in 2019 to make way for a regionalised 50-over tournament and The Hundred. Yorkshire Women Cricket Team
The Yorkshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Yorkshire. They play their home games at St George's Road, Harrogate, and are captained by Hollie Armitage. In 2019, they played in Division One of the final season of the Women's County Championship, and have since competed in the Women's Twenty20 Cup.
